An important and relevant hallmark is the Internet and Telephone facility provided to the hostel rooms. Spacious recreation hall in each hostel is fitted with television and is provided with indoor games facilities like Table Tennis and Carom. 2000 boys and 2000 girls, who live in the hostels in the campus are provided with separate mess and canteens, where choicest food and cleanliness are the mark of daily living. Vidya Pratishthan has extended the hostel facility at Pune for boys coming from rural areas. Almost 215 students have been staying in Baramati Hostel. The hostel is provided with a separate library, reading hall and dining hall. Discipline and studious atmosphere is meticulously maintained in the hostel. Vidya Pratishthan has extended hostel facility at Pune for girls as well. ‘Sharada Niketan’, the girls’ hostel at Pune aims to impart culture, discipline and national integration amongst the boarders. To achieve this aim, ultramodern facilities like health club, yoga center, swimming tank etc. are made available . 261 girl students from various states of India as well as foreign countires have been availing this opportunity. Girls belonging to weaker sections of the society are offered boarding and lodging facilities free of charge. Special Scholarship Schemes The poor, meritorious and the needy students are awarded scholarships throughout the year.
